Detailed Spam Statistics

A detailed analysis of spam received

These pages give some statistics about spam - quantity, sources, types and characteristic features. The statistics cover the period from January 1996 to August 1999, and were based on spam received by a single user (although with multiple user accounts).

These detailed statistics are no longer being maintained, due to lack of time. The index page for this section includes an updated graph showing spam volume over time. For up-to-date statistics on spam sources, see SpamCop.
